SERIES SB – METRIC 2B

SERIES SB – METRIC 2B is a SmoothBore PTFE hose is designed to accept Standard Hydraulic tail fittings. The ID of the hoses is made slightly larger to aid insertion force when making hose assemblies using the Hydraulic tail. This range was also designed to help reduce inventory of Hose fittings as the only tail needed was the Hydraulic type.

SERIES SB – METRIC 2B is available with SS 304 braid, Natural (GP) & Anti-static (AS) PTFE tubes for when electrically resistive fluids are being transferred at high flowrates.

Application

Used globally in the Industrial, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food Industries when lower grade hoses cannot cope with the temperature, pressure, cleanliness or flex fatigue. The SS 304 Double / 2B increases MWP over single braid hose.

Design

Smoothbore PTFE tube with SS 304 double / 2b braid.

Inner layer

Natural (GP) or Anti-static (AS) smoothbore PTFE tube.

Outer layer

SS 304 Double / 2B Braid.

Temperature Min

-60°C.

Temperature Max

+260°C.

Material

PTFE to: ‘ISO12086, Part1. PTFE-E.P.D.M 1.61.C.E.4_12’.
